The Maggie is an Ealing comedy starring Paul Douglas, Alex Mackenzie, James Copeland, Abe Barker, Tommy Kearins and Dorothy Alison in a story about an American businessman regretting he ever got involved with the canny skipper of a dilapidated Scottish cargo boat. The Maggie was directed by Alexander Mackendrick in 1953.
