E. H. SHEPARD

Ernest Howard Shepard was an English artist and cartoonist. He was born in 1879 at London and died in 1976. He worked for Punch magazine and became renowned for his illustrations for children's books including A A Milne's 1926 'Winnie the Pooh' and Kenneth Grahame's 1931 'The Wind In The Willows'.

The Wind In The Willows is an adventure starring Steve Coogan, Eric Idle, Terry Jones, Antony Sher and Nicol Williamson in a story based upon the book by Kenneth Grahame about Mr Toad who alarms his friends by selling his stately home to fund his passion for motor cars. The Wind In The Willows was directed by Terry Jones in 1996.
