Far From The Madding Crowd is an adaptation of the novel by Thomas Hardy. It is a drama centred around a country girl and the three men in her life. Far From The Madding Crowd stars Julie Christie and Terence Stamp, Peter Finch and Alan Bates. Far From The Madding Crowd was directed by John Schlesinger in 1967.

JUDE

Jude is a drama starring Christopher Eccleston, Kate Winslet, Liam Cunningham, Rachel Griffiths, June Whitfield, Ross Colvin Turnbull, James Daley and Berwick Kaler in a story based upon the novel by Thomas Hardy about a rural stonemason living in 19th century England dreaming of attending university but threatening his ambitions by his affair and obsession with his cousin. Jude was directed by Michael Winterbottom in 1996.

Thomas Hardy's Ale is a bottle-conditioned ale of 12% alcohol introduced by Eldridge Pope of Dorset in 1968 to celebrate that summer's Thomas Hardy festival in Dorchester, marking the 40th anniversary of the novelist's death.
