A stud book is a book giving pedigrees etc of horses, dogs and other animals. The first stud book setting forth the pedigrees of thoroughbred horses in England was published in London in 1791.
The Kennel Club Stud Book containing pedigrees of every kind of dog was first published in 1874.

The Anglo-Arab is a British breed of riding horse developed during the 18th and 19th centuries from crossing the Thoroughbred and the Arab. The Anglo-Arab is a naturally athletic breed with speed and jumping abilities, standing 15.2 to 16.3 hands high and bay, brown, chestnut or grey in colour.

AUSTRALIAN STOCK HORSE

The Australian Stock Horse or Waler is an Australian breed of horse standing 14.2 to 16.2 hands high and first imported during the 18th century from the South African Cape. They were originally used as ranch horses and as cavalry mounts, many being used by the Allies during the Great War. The Australian Stock Horse is usually bay in colour, similar in appearance to the Thoroughbred but with more bone.

BUDYONNY

The Budyonny is a Russian breed of sporting horse developed during the 1920s and named after Marshal Budyonny, a Soviet cavalry commander of the Russian Revolution. The Budyonny stands 16 hands high and is mostly chestnut, but can also be grey, brown, bay or black in colour and exhibits a free action, very good gallop and an athletic jump, but are not so fast as the Thoroughbred.

Freiberger is a calm and easy going horse, 14 to 15 hands high, bay or chestnut coloured, with a small but heavy head with a pronounced jaw line and a broad forehead. They are popularly used as dray horses.

The Thoroughbred is a British breed of running horse developed during the 17th and 18th centuries as a breed of fast race horse. A temperamental and easily frightened breed they are none-the-less ideal hacking and eventing horses. The Thoroughbred stands between 15.2 and 16.3 hands high and occurs in any solid colour, with white markings. The coat is usually silky and smooth and they have an elegant, arched neck.
