The Yakovlev Yak-11 (Moose) is a Soviet two-seater intermediate and advanced flying trainer with limited armament training capability. The Yak-11 is a low-wing cantilever monoplane that entered service in 1947. The Yak-11 is armed with one 12.7 mm Beresin UBS heavy machine-gun or one 7.62 mm ShKAS machine-gun in the upper port side of the fuselage and can carry 200 kg of disposable stores on two under-wing hard points.
