Laurie Heather Holden is an American actress. She was born in 1972 at Los Angeles, California. An amateur model as a child, she was educated in economics and theater arts at UCLA. She is perhaps best known for her role as Marita Covarrubias in the television series the 'X Files' and her role as Agent Olivia Murray in the 2008 televison series 'The Shield'.
