ULYSSES ALDROVANDI

Ulysses Aldrovandi was a distinguished Italian naturalist. He was born in 1522 and died in 1605. He was professor at Bologna, and established botanical gardens and museum of natural history there. He wrote a work on natural history in thirteen volumes.
