The Westland Scout is a British utility light helicopter that entered service in 1963. The Westland Scout is powered by a Rolls-Royce Nimbus Mk 101 or Mk 102 turboshaft providing a top speed of 211 km and a range of 505 km. The
Westland Scout carries a crew of one or two and up to three or four passengers or one litter or freight in the rear of the cabin or 1500 lbs of freight carried as a slung load. Two hard points fitted to the sides of the fuselage enable up to 540 lbs of disposable stores to be carried such as 20 mm cannon or machine-gun pods. A naval version is known as the Westland Wasp.

The Westland Wasp HAS Mk 1 is a British ship borne anti-submarine and anti-ship light helicopter (forming a naval version of the Westland Scout) in service since 1963. The Westland Wasp is powered by a Rolls-Royce Nimbus Mk 503 or 504 turboshaft providing a top speed of 193 kmh and a range of 488 km. The Westland Wasp carries a crew of two and up to four passengers or freight in the rear cabin or 1500 lbs of freight carried as a slung load and up to 540 lbs of disposable stores carried on two hard points on the sides of the fuselage.

The Ahmed Yani (formerly the Evertsen) is an Indonesian Van Spiejk Class frigate launched in 1966 and transferred to the Indonesian navy from the Netherlands in the mid-1980s. The Canterbury is a British-built New Zealand Broad-Beamed Leander Class frigate of 2580 tons displacement launched in 1970. The Canterbury is powered by two sets of White-English Electric geared turbines providing a top speed of 28 knots and a range of 5700 miles at 12 knots. She carries a crew of 260 and is armed with a Short Bros Seacat GWS 22 quad surface-to-air missile launcher; two Vickers 4.5 inch/45 Mk 6 dual-purpose guns in a twin arrangement; two Browning 12.7 mm machine-guns and two triple torpedo tubes. She also carries a Westland Westland Wasp helicopter.

The Dewar Kembar (formerly HMS Hydra) is an Indonesian survey ship first commissioned in 1966 and transferred to the Indonesian navy in 1986. She has a displacement of 1915 tons and carries a complement of 117 including fourteen officers. She is powered by three Paxman Ventura 12-cylinder Vee turbocharged diesel engines rated at 3840 bhp providing a top speed of 14 knots and a range of 19200 km at 11 knots. She is unarmed, despite being a military vessel, but carries a Westland Westland Wasp helicopter.
