The Yaesu FRG-8800 was a Japanese made general coverage receiver manufactured between 1985 and 1993 and providing coverage from 150 kHz to 30 Mhz in AM, SSB, CW and FM modes. Performance was fairly mediocre compared to similarly priced receivers produced around the same time, such as the Kenwood R-2000 and the Icom I-R72. Research Yaesu FRG-8800
