YAKOV SVERDLOV

The Yakov Sverdlov (formerly the Navik) was a Russian destroyer of 1271 tons displacement launched in 1912 and re-armed in 1931. The Yakov Sverdlov was powered by oil-fuelled Vulcan boilers providing a top speed of 32 knots and carried a complement of 112. She was armed with four 3.9 inch guns; three 37 mm anti-aircraft gun; one machine-gun and nine 18 inch torpedo tubes.
