ZLIN 43

The Zlin 43 is a Czech two or four seater light training and touring aircraft designed primarily for advanced navigation, night and all-weather flying training, but also well suited for sporting, competitive flying, touring, aerial taxi, glider towing and even aerobatic duties, and first flown as a prototype in 1968. The Zlin 43 is a low-wing cantilever monoplane similar to the earlier Zlin Z-42, but with a larger four-seater cabin in the fuselage and a different engine. The Zlin 43 is powered by an Avia M337 inverted six-cylinder air-cooled in-line engine providing a top speed of 230 kmh and a range of 1100 km.
